Leather keyring great war 300
WW1 leather keyrings
Great War British Officers chaps
Great war chaps WD mark

British and other allied Officers in WW1 protected their legs from the mud with gaiters. This leather is over one hundred years old and it was hard and rigid. We have reconstructed it and used it in these historic keyrings. Using them will remind you of the events in the mud of Passchendaele and the Somme. Remember that these keyring have been cut out leather pieces which are not straight and some bear obvious scars of the conflict. Even the rivets have had to be adjusted to accommodate the different thicknesses of the leather

The overall length of the keyring is five and half inches. The keyring itself is lightweight titanium and it sits in a fine high quality carabiner. It comes boxed and with a letter on handmade paper describing it and it is postpaid in the UK. it’s a unique items and you do not get many keyring out of a pair of gaiters which have survived in sufficient condition after one hundred years to be capable of re-making as keyrings. Remember what this item and it’s epic connections stands for when you use it.

concorde keyring boxed

Made out of pieces of historic metal taken from a Concorde supersonic jet engine is our Concorde keyring. The shape is somewhat different to normal keyrings as we have tried to preserve the shape of the original metal rather than machining out it’s original form. We have very few of these and they come in slightly different shapes and sizes thus you have a unique piece which could be said to be a piece of metal art.

designer silver jpg 300

Made by Scottish silversmiths and others we have silver hallmarked spoons some dating back three hundred years. They date from a time when roads were not so good and each small town might have had its own silversmiths. Just like our Sheffield cutlers many generations of a particular family would have passed on their skills through the ages.

A fine Stockton & Darlington Railway Gift - celebrating the 200th Anniversary.
