Some of these antique straight razors have Arabic characters on them.

Pre 1900 Open Razors

open razor logo 200

With the William Ragg Sheffield made open razors each blade is different in some small way. The grinder must have used artistic licence to create unique quality products. Even today in Sheffield knife grinders will grind a blade from a blank sheet of steel just by hand and eye and these are the same. These unique open razors are cheaper than comparable products mass produced by European makers today.

Remember to look at our Sheffield made folding knives. Folding knives and penknives are still being made in much the same way using the skills of hand and eye. Go to Sheffield-gb.com to see them.

Because each straight razor is a one off we do not link them to the shopping cart. The price includes postage within the UK. Elsewhere the postage is plus 8. if you would like to buy one of the razors send us an email to post@rasoir.uk and we will send you a paypal invoice which reflects your location
